Tomm Stanley – Christchurch
Tomm Stanley was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, raised in Orlando, Florida and since 1991 has been working overseas in places as diverse as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Antarctica. Now an experienced corporate trainer and management consultant, he is also a passionate alternative energy practitioner and an author of two books.
His down-to-earth approach with his groups echoes his original working background, including time in the building trades as a home and commercial buildings maintenance contractor and as a materials supervisor with the U.S. Antarctic Program at both McMurdo and South Pole Stations.
Tomm has spent many years in the automotive industry, mostly in the service and parts areas, in heavy equipment and trucks, as well as in retail vehicle sales and distribution. He is committed to improving the standards of customer service and teamwork in Dealership and Head Office environments.
His client and employer list includes Caterpillar, General Motors, Gough Gough & Hamer, Hyundai New Zealand and Holden Limited. His special expertise is in showing leaders, individuals and teams the techniques and skills that will enable them to maximise their business results, customer satisfaction and personal achievements.
Tomm now resides in the hilly region of Banks Peninsula, near Christchurch on the South Island of New Zealand. He lives in his self-built, solar and wind powered, off-grid stone home.
